War of the Worlds
War of the Worlds is the epitome of a big time Hollywood blockbuster. This updated version of the original War of the Worlds stars Tom Cruise in the hero's role. Cruise plays an average guy who is just trying to protect his kids from the alien attack. The movie features of great special effects. Many people feel that this version of War of the Worlds was a disappointment.

The Polar Express
The Polar Express is based on the classic children's book by the same title. The Polar Express is a train that carries kids who doubt Santa Clause on a journey to the North Pole. Tom Hanks is the star of this film as it is his voice and computer generated movements that are featured throughout the film. The Polar Express looks like a surefire Christmas classic that should be part of everybody's DVD library.

The Honeymooners
No, this release isn't the famous Honeymooners television series starring Art Carney and Jackie Gleason. This is the entertaining 2005 remake of the series starring Cedric the Entertainer (is this guy everywhere of what?) and Mike Epps in the roles of Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton. The chemistry generated by the stars of this movie will leave you wanting more.

The Harold Lloyd Comedy Collection
For those who don't know him, Harold Lloyd was a great comedic star of silent movies. This box set offers a great collection of his excellent work. The set includes fifteen films (feature length) plus thirteen short films. Some of the films featured in this set are The Freshman, Why Worry?, and Safety Last! We recommend the seven-disc box set that comes with a bonus DVD. The bonus material includes home movies of Lloyd as well as interviews of Lloyd's family, friends and celebrity fans.
